Are players required to wear masks during play?

In accordance with the Tri-county Health Department’s guidelines and CDC recommendations, Nuggets Academy will require all personnel, participants, and guests to wear masks when entering the facility, during playing play and leaving the facility.

 

How do we prevent COVID-19 spreading among athletes and families and friends who gather to watch the clinic?

In accordance with the Tri-county Health Department’s guidelines and CDC recommendations, Nuggets Academy will require all personnel, participants, and guests to wear masks when entering the facility, during playing play and leaving the facility. Basketballs and equipment is sanitized before and after the clinic and social distancing is encouraged.

 

Will Nuggets Academy screen or test athletes for COVID-19?

Effective, September 10, 2021, there will be no screening or testing of the youth athletes in order to participate in the clinic. Any changes to this policy will be communicated to parents/legal guardians prior to the clinic. It is the responsibility of the parents/guardians of participants to follow the provided checklist and terms and conditions of participating.

 

What kind of face coverings/masks are acceptable?

The following are acceptable as long as masks meet the requirements above.
